It does not specifically mention a specific property, but it is still important to show that there were procedures in place at the time for determining ownership. The Palestinian government had its own Land Registry offices in different municipalities to ensure veracity of ownership. Mr. Mahrous was detailed in making sure every unit of land he owned was registered with the proper government agency because he knew that to bring to fruition his vision of industrializing Beersheba, Mr. Mahrous had to have the deed and record instruments to everything he did so his ownership couldn’t be called into question.
